Do I need a sailing license?

No, our boats do not require a sailing license. Upon departure you will receive instructions on how to operate the boat and we will give you tips for a safe journey. Of course we are more than willing to sail out with you and make you feel more comfortable. 

Do I need to pay a deposit when I rent a boat?

Yes, for every boat you rent with us we require a 250 euro deposit. The amount can be transferred to our account the day prior to your booking. You can find all our detail in the booking confirmation which will be send to your email. Of course the deposit will be returned after it meets the requirements , which are the following:
– The boat is returned clean, with a complete inventory and without damage.
– The boat is returned on time.
– You don’t cause any disturbance on the Marina.

Can I rent a boat with a group of friends?

Ordinarily we don’t rent out boats to groups of friends. In some situations we will make an exception but only after consultation by phone so please make sure to call us prior to booking with a group of friends. We hold the right to cancel your booking if you make a reservation without consulting us first.

Can I bring a dog on board?

It’s only allowed to bring a dog on board if you provide covers for the dog to lay on. We will charge a cleaning fee of 50 euro if the boat is not returned clean, for example, covered in dog hair.

How old do I need to be to rent a boat?

You are able to book a boat with us if you are 21 or over.

Can I cancel my booking?

Obviously, we would like you to have an amazing day out on the water. Therefor, if the weather is no cooperating you can cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your reserved time slot. Please send us an email (sloepverhuur@piethein.nl ) or reach us at +31615198262 and we will refund your fee (please note it may take a day for the funds to be visible on your account). If there is a sudden change in the weather, within 48 hours of your reserved time slot, we will gladly change your date for another day within this sailing season.
